Junior Ambassador Program Application: 2026-2027

The Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce Junior Ambassador Program is designed to engage and develop the next generation of leaders in our community. This year-long program prepares high school students for meaningful and responsible participation in community and business affairs while supporting the Chamber’s mission to support, promote, and attract business for the advancement of the Mint Hill community.

Through hands-on experiences, Junior Ambassadors gain valuable exposure to the local business environment while developing essential life and leadership skills such as responsibility, time management, teamwork, dedication, and professionalism. Participants have the opportunity to network with community leaders, assist in coordinating events, and engage directly with local businesses, providing real-world insight into how a thriving community operates.

Throughout the program, students explore Mint Hill’s resources, leadership needs, challenges, and opportunities. They collaborate with peers, share ideas, and learn how to think critically and work effectively as part of a team. The program encourages students to reflect on the role they want to play in their community and the impact they can make both now and in the future.

A key component of the Junior Ambassador Program is leadership development, where students are guided in discovering and practicing their unique leadership styles in a supportive, team-based environment. By the end of the program, participants are better equipped to serve as confident, engaged, and forward-thinking leaders within their schools, workplaces, and the Mint Hill community.
