Full-time Customer Service / Warehouse Associate

Growing wholesale supplier in Mint Hill, NC is seeking a full-time Customer Service / Warehouse Associate. This person will work M – F in a small office setting and will be responsible for taking incoming orders, assisting customers, processing orders, as well as warehouse shipping/receiving. This position requires someone who is detail oriented, reliable and able to work in a team setting. It is a relaxed environment and this could be an excellent opportunity for someone returning to the workforce. Quarterly bonuses available.

This position does not offer health or 401k benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain orders and provides proactive customer service, sales and service functions including order entry, expediting, pricing and follow-up on customer inquiries as required
• Consistently provides responsive, quality service to meet and exceed customer expectations
• Check, verify and fill customer invoices
• Process, package and ship orders accurately
• Organize stock and maintain inventory
• Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
• Abide by all company safety regulations

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and background check
• Computer proficiency
• Must be physically able to handle heavy items, up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time when necessary
• Attention to detail, accuracy and reliability are an absolute must
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, reading, time management and customer service skills
• Requires basic math skills and the ability to read and comprehend instructions in English
• Ability to work 8am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday with flexibility if needed
